Service Description: This service provides a spatial index of the following official products issued by the Australian Hydrographic Office (AHO): Electronic Navigational Charts (ENC), Paper Charts, AusENC Packs. This service's primary purpose is to assist product discovery and selection. AusENC Packs are tailored regions designed to assist selecting the right ENC coverage. WARNING: This service is not certified for navigation. It is not an official navigational chart and must not be used for navigation or any related operational decision-making. The AHO makes best efforts to update the data in this geospatial service on a weekly basis. These updates are timed to align with the weekly release of the official AusENC service. While paper nautical charts are updated fortnightly via Notices to Mariners, the data presented in this map service is intended to reflect the most current chart information. This service has been integrated as a foundational layer within the AHO Chart Explorer application.
