Service Description: AHO Chart Series is a mosaicked image service providing a seamless visualisation of the official AusGeoTIFF catalogue. WARNING: This service is not certified for navigation. It is not an official navigational chart and must not be used for navigation or any related operational decision-making. It is designed to support shore-based maritime awareness and analysis. The Australian Hydrographic Office (AHO) makes best efforts to update the data within this geospatial service fortnightly. These updates aim to align with the fortnightly issue of Notices to Mariners. AHO Chart Series can be integrated into various Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and web applications that support RESTful and OGC services. The AusGeoTIFF catalog provides chart coverage for the waters of: Australia, the Australian Antarctic Territory and Timor Leste ("AUS" charts), Papua New Guinea ("PNG" charts), and Solomon Islands ("SLB" cells).
